How to Join the ESP E-List

  1. FIRST, you MUST join TESOL. This will keep the computer system from rejecting your name from the e-list. Then, follow the procedures below.

ESP-IS listserve is an electronic discussion list for exchanging information, questions, and answers about English for Specific Purposes. Discussions should be limited to ESP-related topics such as ESP teacher training, ACADEMIC ENGLISH for SPECIFIC FIELDS (e.g., engineering, medicine, law, business, and vocational training), and PROFESSIONAL or OCCUPATIONAL language training for people already working in a specific field.

Specifically, we encourage discussions on ESP-related marketing, needs analyses, program development and management, resources, materials, teaching methodology, testing, and cross-cultural communication. We also welcome discussion of ESP-IS interest section and ESP/LSP activities of other associations.
