ESP-IS listserve is an electronic discussion list for exchanging
information, questions, and answers about English for Specific Purposes.
Discussions should be limited to ESP-related topics such as ESP teacher
training, ACADEMIC ENGLISH for SPECIFIC FIELDS (e.g., engineering,
medicine, law, business, and vocational training), and PROFESSIONAL or
OCCUPATIONAL language training for people already working in a specific
field.
Specifically, we encourage discussions on ESP-related marketing, needs
analyses, program development and management, resources, materials,
teaching methodology, testing, and cross-cultural communication. We also
welcome discussion of ESP-IS interest section and ESP/LSP activities
of other associations.
